What this site is
LoanCalcFast is a free educational calculator published by Marvin Smit. It works out what a fixed-rate loan would cost using the standard amortization formula and the figures you type in. By using the site you accept the terms on this page.
Estimates, not an offer
Nothing here is an offer of credit, a quote, a pre-approval or a commitment to lend. We are not a lender, a broker or a credit intermediary, and we do not pass your details to one. Only a lender can tell you what you will actually be charged, and only their own disclosures count.
Not financial advice
The calculator and the articles around it are general information. They do not take account of your income, your debts, your credit file or your circumstances, and they are not financial, tax or legal advice. Before you borrow, speak to someone licensed to advise you.
Accuracy and no warranty
We take the math seriously: the formula is the published one, it is covered by automated tests, and the sources behind our explanations are linked so you can check them. Even so, the site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Results depend on what you type, and a real loan can differ because of rounding, fees added to the balance, a first period that is longer or shorter than a month, or terms specific to your agreement. Verify anything that matters against your lender’s own paperwork.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from decisions made on the strength of its output. If some liability cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, nothing here limits it.
Acceptable use
You may use the calculator freely for your own planning, personal or commercial. Please do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people, present its output as advice from a licensed adviser, or republish the articles as your own. The site’s text, design and code remain ours; the numbers your own inputs produce are yours to use as you like.

We link to regulators such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and to our own sibling site for home loans. We do not control those pages and are not responsible for what they say or do.
